Proud of my Boys

Jamey's baseball coach is also his cub scout den leader. He decided it would be a great idea to have the scouts do a flag ceremony before all of the minor league games. There is only one troop besides the LDS troop in Lander, so they do the flag ceremonies on Mondays and Wednesdays, and our troop does them on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Since we are at the games twice a week anyway, our boys usually end up taking part in the flag ceremony. Tonight it was only my boys that did it -- except for Jamey, of course, because he was playing baseball.

Jamey's team has only lost one game, and it was last week to the team they played again tonight. That team was undefeated until tonight -- Jamey's team beat them 6 to 2 so Jamey was mighty excited. Jamey had 2 of the runs. Here is his first one:

Your kids are involved in so much! I don't know how you do it all! What a great experience to do the flag ceremonies before the baseball games! I think that is so great.
