The Snowball Express

We debated and debated what to name our beautiful new van. The honda was the "Honda River." The suburban was Herbie Suburbie. The van was the Millennium Falcon. Our new van needed a very special name. We thought of many possibilities and everybody had their own idea of what was the very best name, but nothing seemed quite right.

When we brought our beautiful new van home yesterday, I noticed that it is not only just a Chevrolet Van, it is a Chevrolet Express Van. So I have made an executive decision and named our van "The Snowball Express," after one of our favorite movies. It is white, after all!

James spent all day today & all of last night working on customizing the van for us & switching things over from the old van. Today he installed our tv's and put the wires behind the panels so you can't see them and the kids can't pull them out. He installed extra plugs for all of our various electrical items. He installed the car seats and even attached a double cup holder to Rebecca's seat.

Our new van is clean and shiny & doesn't even have any dents! It only has 41K miles on it instead of 300K like our other one. And the blinker works! The speakers work! The power steering works! It also has a sliding door instead of swinging doors that like to bump into cars when the kids pile out. Yes, the Snowball Express is definitely the right car for us!

Wow! That is a NICE van! I bet you guys are absolutely loving it! Especially that sliding door. Well, blinkers are always nice, too. And it's so clean! That's my favorite part about new cars (although that doesn't last long, does it?).
