Tonight's The Big Night!

Tonight is the big night -- Rebecca's dance recital! She's been looking forward to it all year (as have I). Don't worry, my dancing cousins, this year I had purple eyeshadow, blush, eyeliner, mascara, and even beige tights long before the big day. Unlike last year, I came prepared this time and even remembered to have Rebecca leave her underwear at home! I'm an expert dance mother already!

We were the first to arrive for pictures this morning, because her teacher warned us that if anyone was missing when it was time to take pictures, tough luck for them! Rebecca smiled a military-like smile for her individual photo, and looked sort of like she was in pain in her group photo. Here she is with Kaykay in their tap costumes:

Here are some videos of yesterday's rehearsal. Rebecca wanted to stay and watch most of the other dances as well. We were there for more than 2 hours. Rebecca is the one in the bright pink polka-dotted tights.
