Cameron has continued to work on the soccer shed and it is now ready to be moved from Brother Gould's building site to the soccer complex at the high school. President Larsen is going to move it for him. After it is moved they will caulk & paint it, put the shelves and hooks up inside, and then move all of the soccer materials back in. Hopefully this will coincide with the end of soccer season, because our garage is already full enough of soccer materials and all of the bags of balls and first aid kits are checked out to the soccer coaches right now! Our garage would be overflowing with soccer balls if soccer season wasn't going right now.
Lately Cameron has been working with just James on most of the shed because there hasn't been things he could assign to the scouts. Today Brother Sandall came to help too, and yesterday Brother Byrd helped. His brothers have helped every now and then also. What a sense of accomplishment he will feel when it is completed!

He decided to sweep all the dirt out of the inside.

Good thing James has power tools!

Putting the soffit up was quite an adventure! Monday night the soccer fields were way too wet, so all the games were cancelled. So instead of watching soccer games for FHE, we went to work on the shed. Everybody got SOOOO muddy! You should see our van right now! It is caked in dirt. I'm not sure how we'll ever get it out. The garage is full of muddy shoes and clothes that I still need to wash. Lizzie's stroller and little bike has very muddy wheels. But the soffit is up and finished now!

There's my table saw:

Cameron was holding the soffit up with his head.

Check out the lakes -- those are not supposed to be there!

Jamey helped carry the shelves into the shed:

Cameron measures the overhang:

I'm sure proud of my soon-to-be-Eagle scout!
