This year we're trying the gardening merit badge again. We divided the garden into 4 plots: Mine, Cameron's, Micah's, and Jamey/Teancum's. The twins have a plot on the other side of the yard. Rebecca also planted some sunflower seeds in my garden. Hopefully Cameron & Micah's excitement will last and they'll be successful with their garden this year. Actually, last year's failure wasn't quite their fault. The twins were in trouble and I sent them outside to weed the garden, and they were mad at me so they pulled Cameron & Micah's plants (which were clearly marked) and threw them over the fence into Lucy's yard. So Cameron & Micah passed off very few things on their gardening merit badge last year. This is try #2. The photo above is Cameron's garden. My garden is the one with marigolds all around it. Jamey's is in front of mine and Micah's is to the left.
We marked our seeds and plants with popcycle sticks. Right now we have a very colorful popcycle stick garden.

What beautiful gardens! I'm impressed! And you wrote a book? How amazing is that! Sounds like you are all as busy and wonderful as ever!!
