Cold & Frosty Bear Lake

Last weekend we went camping with the Sandalls at Bear Lake. It was a bit chilly, but we had fun and we weren't too cold at night. James woke up before everybody else and cooked us all breakfast so nobody had time to be grumpy.
Sandalls are preparing their foil dinners to be put in the fire.

We had prepared our foil dinners at home so we got to eat first. Funny how good a foil dinner tastes when you're camping. :)

Rebecca & Kaykay had a good time hanging out together.

The next morning we packed up and headed down to Bear Lake. The lake is so low that tractors have to put the boats into the water. Luckily Kris' sister Kaylynn knew a guy with a tractor so he put our boat in for free. Sadly, the boat didn't work. James finally got it to run for a few minutes, but not long. He and Derek even took the battery out of the Sandall's mini van to see if that would help. Looks like James is going to have to do yet even more work on the boat! So we drug it all the way to Bear Lake and didn't even get to use it.
The weather was very cold, rainy, and windy. We didn't last very long, although we were the last ones left on the beach. We were on a private beach so all the people who owned the cabins along the lake disappeared inside. We gathered our things and took off for home.

Time to go home! We're turning purple!

It's too bad it wasn't warmer. Still looks like fun!
