Welcome Home, Casey!

On Wednesday, July 1st, my baby brother Casey returned from his mission to the Olongapo Phillippines mission. We were all so excited to see him because, although we'd been writing him letters and emails, and talking to him on the phone at Christmas, we hadn't seen him for two years! The flight was supposed to arrive at 9 p.m. We waited nervously with a couple other missionary families for a half hour, wondering where Casey was! We were worried that he might have gone on a different plane. One of the families wasn't even sure which flight their missionary was on because his flight plans had already been changed.
There is my mom talking to another missionary mom. There was a lot of nervous anticipation in the air!
Finally, Casey appeared, along with one of the other missionaries! We never did see if the 3rd missionary came, because when we left his family was still standing there waiting for him.
Casey was surrounded by hugs from all his nieces and nephews (except Curtis' girls - they'll come out for the Homecoming). I took several photos, but could only see Casey in this one because of the mob of kids around him.
Some of Casey's buddies came to the air port also. One had only been home from his mission for 5 days.
Casey put the last sticker on his missionary sticker chart. It's official! His mission is completed!
Here's Casey with my family before we returned home the next morning.
Welcome home, Casey!!!

Wow, that is exciting! Nothing like a brother coming home from his mission! How awesome! He looks so grown up!
